The Map Of the New Territory

Post by Bear on February 14th 2012, 5:15 pm

A GUIDE TO THE NEW TERRITORY

    Key:
      - - - - - = (dotted line) represents a definition between different areas
O = (circle) Represents a Den site - Has name next to it.
      X = (An X) Represents a Prey herd.

    Terrain Guide:
      Dark Green-Green-LimeGreen-Yellow-Orange-Brown
      - This resembles the lush forest through to dry desert

      LightBlue-MediumBlue-DarkBlue
      - Represents the depth of the ocean.

Grey Represents Snow, (all year round)

The Areas
    Armadillo Basin -
A hot dry canyon with small bushes, no real prey lies here.

    McGuffin's Ranch -
The Farmer's ranch, (outlined in pink on map) is fenced, and cattle lie within, on lush grass, these make easy prey, but can you get in and out without being noticed by the farm hands?

    Great Plains -
Where the Pack spends most of its time, hunting and living on the great plains, Buffalo and elk roam here, with grass that remains a greeny yellow, The pack den at Hanging Rock.

    Black Marsh -
A dark wetlands, flood prone, and other predators lie here, such as alligators. It is spooky and mysterious.

    Evergreen Forest -
he lovely lush forest that is 'Ever green' there is lots of prey here, and the pack usually stays at the White Coast Cave during the hot months.

    Windy Peak -
As the name suggests, the mountain that overlooks the Evergreen Forest and is always covered in snow. It is exceptionally windy, but has lovely views over the Banishing Winds Territory.

    The Badlands -
A dry barren land, that the pack may roam during the winter months, it doesn't snow here, and most of the ground is salty, and the air is sticky. Only small sources of prey, but when the pack resides here they stay at Dead Stump's Hollow.

    Salt Lake -
The salt lake is, a salt lake, not fit for drinking, it is at the south west of The Badlands.

The Dens
    The Hanging Rock -
The hanging rock is just as the name suggests, it is a hanging rock, there are small caves and hollows around this rock where the pack can sleep safe from the wind and weather. It is the main den.

    White Coast Cave -
A large cave on the coast of the Evergreen forest. Along side the ocean, it can be cold here, so this is why the pack stays here in the Summer months. It is a huge cave that easily holds the Banishing Winds Pack Members.

    Dead Stump's Hollow -
Inside the stump it is big enough to host young puppies of numerous numbers, but is too small to fit an adult wolf. The Pack sleep around the stump, with the guard of a cliff behind them, and beside them, and the ocean on one side, and the rest of the desert on the other. It is warm here even during the winter months, and very hot during summer.
